1. Information We Collect

archelier collects the following when you use the service:

• Account information — name, email, and profile photo when you sign in with Apple or Google. With Apple Sign-In, the email may be a private relay address.
• User content you create — interior photos you upload, AI prompts and chat messages, design names, descriptions, comments, and the designs you choose to share to the community feed.
• Profile data — your handle, display name, bio, and Instagram link if you choose to add one.
• Social graph — accounts you follow, who follows you, accounts you block, and content reports you submit.
• Usage data — feature interactions (likes, follows, generations, comments), device and browser metadata, and approximate region inferred from IP. Analytics events are recorded on the web only; the iOS app does not include a separate analytics SDK.
• Subscription state — your active plan, trial status, and renewal date. We do not see or store full payment card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate, display, and store the designs you request.
• To operate the community feed, comments, follows, blocks, and reports.
• To process subscriptions, free trials, and renewals via our payment partners.
• To improve quality and prevent abuse.
• To send transactional messages (sign-in, receipt, security) — we do not send marketing email.

3. Data Storage and Processors

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions). AI generations are processed by Google Gemini solely to produce the requested design and chat response. Subscription billing is handled by Stripe (web) and Apple App Store / RevenueCat (iOS); we receive only the entitlement status from these providers, not card details. Analytics events are recorded with Google Analytics for Firebase.

4. Community Content and Moderation

Designs you mark as listed appear in the public community feed and on your public profile. All AI generations pass automated safety filters before display. Other users can report content; reports are reviewed by our team. You can block any user from your profile or via Account → Blocked users — blocked users' designs, comments, and activity become hidden from your view. We do not sell, share, or use your designs for advertising or model training.

5. Data Retention and Account Deletion

Your designs and account data are retained while your account is active. You may delete individual designs from My Designs at any time. To permanently delete your entire account and all associated data, open Settings → Delete Account inside the app. This removes your designs, profile, comments, follows, collections, credits, and subscription history immediately and signs you out. The action cannot be undone. Backups may persist for up to 30 days after deletion before being permanently erased. If you need help deleting your account, contact us through the Support page.

Subscription handling at deletion: if you subscribed on the web, your active Stripe subscription is canceled automatically as part of the deletion. If you subscribed in the iOS app, Apple controls your App Store subscription and we cannot cancel it on your behalf — you must cancel it yourself in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions to stop future charges.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent for any optional processing. You can delete your account and all associated data directly inside the app at Settings → Delete Account. Residents of the EEA, UK, California, and other jurisdictions with applicable laws have the additional rights granted by GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar regimes. Contact us through the app to exercise any other rights.

7. Children

archelier is rated 4+ but is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

We use local storage and cookies to remember your language preference, auth session, and feed cache. Firebase and Google Analytics may set additional cookies for authentication and analytics.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app prior to taking effect.
